These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Cila ("Cila," "we," "us," or "our"). Cila is based in Sydney, Australia and provides its software as a service platform (the "Service") worldwide under these Terms and all applicable laws.

By creating an account, connecting a social-media profile, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

Age requirement

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher.
  • We do not allow anyone under 18 to create an account or submit data.

You are responsible for your credentials and all activity on your account.

2. Licence and Acceptable Use

Limited licence

Cila gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for lawful business purposes.

Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service
  • bypass platform API limits or misuse data from Instagram or TikTok
  • upload or transmit malware or other harmful code
  • violate any law or third party right, including privacy or intellectual-property rights
  • resell Platform Data or User Content except as allowed by platform rules and these Terms

3. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. By using our Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

4. Third-Party Content and Platform Disclaimer

CILA indexes and analyses publicly available information from third-party platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, to provide social media research, analytics and content intelligence.

CILA does not claim ownership of third-party content. Usernames, thumbnails, captions, transcripts, trademarks and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

CILA is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with Instagram, TikTok, Meta, ByteDance, or any creators, businesses or brands displayed within the platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

CILA does not host or store the underlying Instagram or TikTok videos. Where available, CILA provides attribution and links to the original source.

If you are a rights holder and believe material accessible through CILA infringes your rights or should be removed, please contact yuka@cila.app with the relevant details and URL.

5. AI-Generated Content

Some imagery and creative content used on this website and in CILA's marketing and advertising may be created, enhanced or modified using AI. Any resemblance to real individuals in AI-generated imagery is coincidental unless otherwise stated.
